|||Citibank consumer credit cards approve instantly online, but I don't know about the student card offers. Some student card issuers want to verify a student's enrollment in a university. So therefore can not be approved instantly. You are better off choosing the student card with the features you like best.

And mostly every credit card company, when giving your information to them can tell you in a matter of 5 min.s whether or not you've been approved or denied. You can browse the cards and see which card has the best offer. Check out the interest rates and fees. I believe some of the student cards on this site also offer rewards. And yes most of the companies will tell you as soon as you finish filling out the online application if you've been approved or not. Good Luck!
